Good video, you raise interesting points. I have been very hesitant to charge for anything I make, and am trying to overcome this; because sadly, giving away good stuff doesn’t usually pay the bills…

It’s been a while, glad to see you back on Coach TV!

Great video! Several years ago a friend and me started working based on passion. We had really good years but somewhere along the road it became more and more about the money and we lost our way. Now we are not happy and it shows at our work and personal life.

Your video really motivates me to remember why I choose to do what I’m doing and find out how I can go back without loosing what I have worked for.

Thanks, Tyler, I’ll see if I can find a way to make this a more ongoing, continuous part of my life.

Urbankid, this is a classic pitfall, and I’m happy to hear that you’ve noticed and are taking action to fix it. I can tell you from my experience that it’s an ongoing thing. I find myself easily drifting away from what’s right for me, and then having to pull myself back. It’s more like a daily or weekly thing than something you do once every other year.

There’s a saying that anything that’s not growing is dying, or something like that. You can’t just “set it and forget it”. You have to be constantly vigilant and investing in the things that mean something to you – your health, your relationships with your loved ones, your mental furniture suite.

If you have a propensity for drifting, then this would be one of those areas, too.

Thanks, for your commets Lars. I did notice it, but actually didn’t do nothing about it. No, that’s not true, I worked even harder, maybe because sometimes that’s easier than to stop and think ;)

“anything that’s not growing is dying” Wow! That is so true!

Glad I found your blog. It motivates me and are really helping me to sort out my thoughts. Thanks for your help.

Howdy Lars,

I’ve been trying to find the download link for this episode, to no avail. Am I just being myopic?

I love your videos!

No, you’re right, it’s not there. I’m afraid I’ve lost the source files for these three episodes. Only FLV versions available. I guess I could convert those to mp4. Will get on that.

Thank you Lars! Please accept this gold star and homemade oatmeal cookie as thanks!

(I’ll send you something tangible once I can afford to do so… today I’ve gotta send virtual goods.) :)
